\"Eyes Wide Open: Beyond Fear - Towards Hope\"

Staci, the kids and I went to this exhibit. It was very powerful and gave some sense of the cost of going to war.

The \"Eyes Wide Open: Beyond Fear - Towards Hope\" exhibit makes a human statement, not a political one, say the organizers, the American Friends Service Committee, a Quaker peace and humanitarian aid group.

\"We are not here to protest or tell anyone what to think or feel,\" said Jack Smith, a member of the Red Cedar Friends Quaker Meeting sponsoring the Lansing event. \"The exhibit simply lays out the enormity of the facts and allows you to enter into the symbolic space of these losses.\"
